Mike’s Auto Repair is solely owned by Mike Roup and has been established in Lockhart, Texas since 1997.  We consist of two full-time mechanics (Mike Roup and James Haye), one service writer (Paige Sanchez), and one dog (Homer).

Mike is a Certified Master Auto Technician, and is also ATRA Certified Rebuilder of Automatic Transmissions.  He was voted 2008 Best Mechanic in Caldwell County (Lockhart Post Register).

James is ASE Certified and Paige is trained to estimate repairs and keep you well informed on your vehicle status.  (Homer's job is to ride in the truck with Mike.)

Mike's Auto Repair specializes in transmissions.  Our transmission rebuild room has two rebuild tables, a parts washing machine and a transmission cooler flushing machine.  The shop is equipped with seven vehicle lifts and four flat bays.  Our Hunter alignment machine and wheel balancer are state of the art.  Our alignment rack is long enough to work on four door 1-ton trucks.  We are also a wholesale tire distributor.  In addition, we have the latest Snap On scan tools and Solus equipment for domestic and foreign cars, plus the capacity for generic scanning and quick learn capabilities for late model domestic vehicles.  We also work on high performance vehicles.
